About Us

Hi, I’m Soledad. As founder of Women for Women House Maintenance, a business created to give women a reliable, professional option for home repairs and maintenance—without the attitude or the shortcuts, I’m excited to offer an innovative home repair service for households in Melbourne’s North and Western Suburbs.

While I’m not a registered architect, I’ve worked on a broad range of projects and developed a deep understanding of how homes are designed, built, and how they age. That insight helps me spot problems early and offer solutions that last.

Background in Architecture

As a professional with a Master of Architecture and over 15 years of experience designing and coordinating residential projects, I’ve pivoted my career to focus on empowering homeowners – particularly women, through high-quality, female-oriented property maintenance services.

Passion

My shift into hands-on work was a natural step. I took up woodworking and welding simply because I loved it—and I quickly realised how much satisfaction I get from making and fixing things with my own two hands. That passion eventually led me to formal training in construction waterproofing and a career built on technical skill, practical thinking, and respect for the homes I work on.

Vision

Today, I help women take care of their homes with confidence. I focus on doing the job properly, showing up when I say I will, and explaining things in plain language. Whether it’s a small repair or a bigger issue that needs a thoughtful approach, I aim to deliver work that’s functional, well-finished, and built to last.
